In Anusara Yoga®, the practice of asana is considered a spiritual art,
arising from a longing to be free. Every pose is an offering - of one's
individual self to unite with and enhance the goodness and deep
order of the Universe. The poses, then, become a co-creation with
the Supreme - joining heart, mind and body in an expression of
inner freedom and glorification of Shri.
Shri - A quality of attractive and expansive luster,
resonant with deep universal order.
At its culmination, the pose shines from the inside out. Connected
within to the Universal, the form powerfully and harmoniously
unfolds into a unique expression of beauty, fullness and freedom.
